DESCRIPTION:The Trans Rural Elders Conference\, hosted by TransRural Lives and Helen House\, will take place in Ellensburg\, Washington\, from October 24 to 26\, 2025 (Friday evening to Sunday afternoon). The event will feature a speaker series\, workshops\, resource sharing\, social events\, and storytelling. \nThe conference aims to increase the visibility of transgender and gender-diverse elders in rural areas of the Pacific Northwest and to nurture supportive networks that empower individuals and foster community building across age groups and rural areas. \nThe conference will also engage Indigenous Two-Spirit and trans elders\, as well as trans and other gender-nonconforming people of color. \nIf you’re interested in attending or have questions\, email transrurallives@gmail.com. \nThere is no registration fee.
